- Embracing Quiet, a self-guided prayer experience for Holy Week April 18-22
12-2pm and 5-7pm in the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall (Great Hall) M-Thursday. Friday 5-7pm only, closed at noontime.
Our sanctuary will feature quiet space for you to simply be in silence. There will also be prayer stations that you are free to interact with at your own pace. Also, we have a prayer labyrinth in our Fellowship Hall for your use. A prayer labyrinth is a path that one walks slowly in order to aid prayer and meditation. A printed guide will be available in both rooms that gives more details and suggestions for a meaningful experience.
Spiritual guidance and personal prayer by one of our pastors will be available between 1-2pm and 6-7pm each day, except for Friday.
You’re invited to a quiet space. Step in from the noise of life and immerse yourself in a journey of prayer. Holy Week is all about Jesus’ last few days before his death. You’ll walk with him through those last few days and be invited into prayer and contemplation on the themes his actions surfaced, such as: hope, pride, shame, envy, and justice. Jesus calls all of us to walk a difficult path. He didn’t avoid brokenness and pain, but instead brought healing and wholeness in the midst of them. To walk this path is the way of the cross. Will you journey with us?
